Hi, I’m Matthew and this is my corner of the internet where I hope to share interesting projects and concepts I’ve built, researched, or stumbled across.

Right now I’m most energized by taking algorithms that are serial by nature and restructuring them so the work can be split across SIMD lanes or GPU threads. My other interests mainly reside in Rust, file formats, and databases.

I currently live in New York City and will attend the Recurse Center, sheltering away from the horrible AI slop storm.

Previously, I worked at Pydantic as a database engineer.

I went to Wesleyan but would consider myself self taught.

When I’m not programming, I spend my time training jiu jitsu or hanging out with friends.
